In addition, we may collect information about your location with your consent if your mobile device has been configured to send such information to the MASONSHOSPITALITY application (see the privacy settings on your mobile device). We may, for example, use this information to show you reviews of accommodations near you. You can change the privacy settings on your mobile device at any time and disable the functionality of sharing your location information with the MASONSHOSPITALITY application. 8. Cookies and other web technologies

We collect information via cookies and other similar technologies (web beacons). Cookies are small text files that are automatically placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a site. Cookies and web beacons are stored by your web browser. Cookies contain basic information about your use of the Internet. Your browser sends these cookies back to our site each time you visit so that it recognises your computer or mobile device in order to personalise and improve your browsing experience.

You can find out more about the cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons) we use in our cookie policy.

9. Cookies

About cookies in general and, for example, how to see which cookies are installed on your device, how to manage them and how to delete them, you will find all the necessary information on this site : http://www.youronlinechoices.com/fr/.

We use cookies on our site for the following purposes:

  • Identify your browser when you return to our site, and save and remember any preferences you may have set during your previous visit. For example, if you have registered on our site, cookies may allow us to store your login details so that you do not have to re-enter your login details each time.
  • To personalise your browsing experience and the content of our site. For example, when you visit a web page, a cookie is automatically set by us, our service providers or our partners to recognise your browser when you access the Internet and thus display information based on what you think you are interested in.
  • Measure and document the effectiveness of different features, offers and electronic communications (by determining which emails you opened and whether you clicked on a link in the email).

The Settings option on the toolbar of most browsers should tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to receive a notification when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies that are not useful to you. Please note that if you reject cookies, you may not be able to access many of the tools, content or features offered on our site.

10. Invisible pixels

Our site may use web beacons (also known as clear GIFs, web beacons, or web beacons), which are tiny digital images with a unique identifier that work similarly to cookies and are placed in the code of a web page. We use them to understand the browsing patterns of our users who access a page from another page within our site in order to provide or transmit information to cookies, to learn whether you are accessing our site from an online advertisement displayed on a "third party site" and to otherwise improve the performance of our site. We may also allow our service providers to use web beacons to help us determine which emails have been opened by their recipients and to track the actions of our users. This allows us to better measure the relevance of our content and the effectiveness of our offerings.

11. DNT anti-tracking signals

Your Internet browser may transmit a "DNT" ("Do Not Track") signal to inform MASONSHOSPITALITY and other websites that you do not wish to be tracked. Due to differences in the default settings of Internet browsers and the way they integrate DNT signals, it is not always clear to site operators whether users have actually selected the DNT setting themselves or whether they know they can configure it. Please note that MASONSHOSPITALTY is not currently able to take DNT signals into account.

12. Your rights

You can check, complete and update the information you have provided to us by accessing the "My Information" section of your account.
